HISTORY

Red McCombs and Bart Koontz formed Koontz McCombs in May of 1997 to pursue the development and acquisition of income-producing properties throughout the state of Texas. The Company currently has active developments in San Antonio, Austin and Houston, Texas and has been involved in the development or acquisition of over 1,600,000 square feet of commercial property. The scope of properties has ranged from office, industrial/flex space, single tenant retail build-to-suit and multifamily projects for some of the nation's leading companies.

January, 2000 brought about the launch of Koontz McCombs Construction, Ltd. which provides commercial construction services for the Company as well as third parties. With the addition of construction services, Koontz McCombs was able to complete it's goal of vertical integration by offering complete development, construction, leasing and property management services with one point of contact.
